Panther lose two in a row
September 15th 2006 -
Eastbrook dropped its second game in a row.  Something it has not done in six years.  Eastbrook started the game out very flat and Frankton took advantage of it.  The Eagles scored two first half touchdowns and posted a 14-0 lead at halftime.

The second half saw a little change of attitude from the Panthers.  The defense came out fired up.  In the second half Eastbrook's offense was constantly in good field position.  They had problems taking advantage of it.

In the fourth quarter Eastbrook finally broke through.  Nathan Felver would find Mark Miller for a pass completion to set up a Felver to Quintyn Tuterow touchdown pass.

Eastbrook would catch Frankton sleeping on the next possession and recover an onside kick.  Just when it looked like they would capitalize a fumble inside the 5-yardline would give Frankton the ball back.

Once again the defense would do the job forcing a fumble giving the ball back to the Panthers inside the 10-yardline.  Once again Frankton's defense would prove too much and that would pretty much run the clock out.

Eastbrook now moves to 3-2 on the season.  They will head to Alexandria for their next game.
